We can only help with Knowsley applications. If you're applying somewhere else, we'll point you the right way.

What's your email address?

We'll save your answers as you go. So you can come back later if you get stopped. We won't use your email for marketing. We only use it to send you links to carry on, and your documents after you sign.

Is this a new application, or are you renewing your operator's licence?

If you're renewing, we'll ask for your expiry date next. Then we can keep an eye on the dates with you.

When does your current licence expire?

We'll help you renew in good time. That way there's no gap in your licence.

How many vehicles will you run?

Our lease price depends on how many vehicles are on your operator licence.

Are you applying on your own, or with other drivers under your licence?

An operator licence covers the business. You can add or remove drivers later without applying again.

Are you applying as a limited company or a sole trader?

If you're a limited company, we'll ask for your Companies House number next. If you're a sole trader, we'll skip that step.

What's your Companies House number?

It's an 8-digit number. You'll find it on your certificate of incorporation or any Companies House email. We'll use it to check your company details for you.

Tell us about yourself.

We need this for the lease and our anti-money laundering (AML) checks, which the law says we must do. The council also needs your name and date of birth for its licensing checks. Your home address stays on your application. It isn't shown to the public.

What's your trading name and best mobile number?

Your trading name is the name people know your business by. It can be the same as your limited company name, or different.

If you carry on, you agree to a 12-month lease. The exit clause still applies.

Check everything below. The exit clause is real: If Knowsley Council turns down your licence application, you're released from the lease. The same goes if it revokes your licence after it's issued. It's built into the agreement.
