The Maggie O'Neill Centre in Huyton, near Liverpool, hosts Oliver McGowan Tier 2 face-to-face days in the Auditorium. It seats up to 60 cabaret style with space for wheelchairs between the tables. There's a quiet room off the Auditorium foyer, adjustable lighting, accessible parking right outside and an accessible toilet on the same floor.

  • Reasonable adjustments are agreed in advance, based on what each person needs. Tell us beforehand and we'll have them ready.

Can a wheelchair user get around the Auditorium?

Yes. The Auditorium seats up to 60 cabaret style, with space between the tables for a wheelchair to move around.

  • Step-free access. Accessible parking spaces right outside the Auditorium. The Auditorium side door can be opened to shorten the route.
  • Accessible toilet on the same floor as the Auditorium, a short walk away next to the kitchen. It has grab rails, a fold-down rail and an emergency pull cord.
  • The Auditorium is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to reach it. (There's no lift to the first-floor rooms.)

How do booking and payment work?

Auditorium bookings are larger bookings. A 25% deposit secures your dates and the balance is invoiced 2 weeks before. You can pay by bank transfer (details on your invoice) or by card over the phone. PO numbers are welcome, but we still need the deposit to secure your dates.

Where is the Maggie O'Neill Centre?

The Maggie O'Neill Centre is at 433 Liverpool Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 8HT, in Knowsley, 30 seconds from the M57.

  • A free 50-space car park outside, and a main bus route past the door.
  • Fully accessible on the ground floor, with step-free access and accessible parking. We don't have a lift to the first-floor rooms, but the Auditorium, Community Room, Forum, Grove and Pod are all on the ground floor.
  • An accessible toilet with grab rails, a fold-down rail and an emergency pull cord.
  • Open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. Evening and weekend room hire on request.
