Is the building accessible?

Yes, on the ground floor. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you book and we'll put your group in a ground-floor room.

  • We don't have a lift to the first-floor rooms, but the Auditorium, Community Room, Forum, Grove and Pod are all on the ground floor.

Can you provide lunch?

Yes, through our catering partner. Tea and coffee in the room are always included.

Catering is provided by our partner, Superior Catering. You order and pay for it with them directly, and we'll put you in touch when you book.

A community hall leaves the work to you. A hotel fits room hire around its bedrooms. Maggie's is a hosted venue: rooms are the whole job.

What's included when you hire a room at the Maggie O'Neill Centre?

Every room booking includes on-site hosts, the room set to your layout, a screen with Mac and PC wireless casting and HDMI, 1Gb fibre WiFi, a flipchart and pens, tea and coffee in the room all day, kitchen and fridge access, and free parking.

Are tea and coffee included in the room hire price?

Yes. Tea and coffee are served in the room all day and included in every booking at the Maggie O'Neill Centre.

Do I need to bring an HDMI cable or projector?

No. Every meeting and training room at the Maggie O'Neill Centre has a screen with wireless casting from Mac and PC (AirPlay for MacBooks and iPads, and screen casting from Windows laptops), plus HDMI. The cables are provided and tested before you arrive.

Is parking included?

Yes. Parking is free for every delegate in the Maggie O'Neill Centre's 50-space car park, 30 seconds from the M57.

Is the Maggie O'Neill Centre accessible?

Yes, on the ground floor. There's step-free access, 3 accessible parking bays and an accessible toilet with grab rails, a fold-down rail and an emergency pull cord. We don't have a lift to the first-floor rooms, but the Auditorium, Community Room, Forum, Grove and Pod are all on the ground floor. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you book and we'll put you in a ground-floor room.

How much does room hire cost?

Training rooms at the Maggie O'Neill Centre start at £165 a day, with everything on this page included. The Pod costs £20 an hour or £120 a day. The Foundry and the Hub cost £25 an hour or £165 a day. The Summit, the Forum, the Grove and the Community Room cost £30 an hour or £180 a day. The Auditorium costs from £100 an hour.

What happens if I need to cancel?

A standard booking (one room for one day) is free to cancel or change up to 1 business day before your start time. After that, the full booking cost is payable. Larger bookings are fully chargeable once booked, with a 25% deposit to secure your dates.

Can I book a half day?

The Maggie O'Neill Centre doesn't have half-day rates. Rooms are hired by the hour or by the day, so a shorter session is charged at the hourly rate.

Can you provide lunch or catering?

Yes. Catering is provided by the Maggie O'Neill Centre's partner, Superior Catering. You order and pay for it with them directly, and we'll put you in touch when you book.

Can I hire a room in the evening or at the weekend?

Yes. The Maggie O'Neill Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and evening and weekend room hire is available on request.
