How do I get to the Maggie O'Neill Centre?

We're outside the city, so getting here is easier. There's a free 50-space car park, a bus stop a minute's walk away, and the M57 is close by. If you get stuck on the way, ring reception on 0151 482 0408.

By car
Search for Maggie O'Neill Centre in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze. We're listed, and it'll take you straight to the building.
We're on the north side of Liverpool Road (the A57), just past Seth Powell Way. The car park is free, with 50 spaces, and you don't need to book.
Whichever direction you're coming from, the easiest way in is junction 3 of the M57. Leave there and take the A526 towards Huyton. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Seth Powell Way. Turn left onto Liverpool Road, and we're a short way along on the left.
From Manchester, Warrington and the eastabout 50 minutes from Manchester
Take the M62 west to junction 6 (Tarbock Island). Then take the M57 north towards Southport and leave at junction 3.
From Preston, Wigan, Southport and the northabout 50 minutes from Preston
Take the M6 south to junction 26, then the M58 towards Liverpool. At the end of the M58, join the M57 south and leave at junction 3.
From Chester, North Wales and Runcornabout 40 minutes from Chester
Take the M56 east to junction 12, then follow signs across the Mersey Gateway Bridge. It's a toll bridge, so pay online by midnight the next day. Follow the A562 onto the Knowsley Expressway (A5300). It runs straight onto the M57 north, and you leave at junction 3.
From the Midlands and the south
Take the M6 north to junction 21A and the M62 west to junction 6. Then follow the Manchester directions above.
From Liverpool city centre20 to 30 minutes, about 7.5 miles
Head east on the A57, which starts as Prescot Road and becomes East Prescot Road, through Old Swan and Knotty Ash. Stay on it past Page Moss, where it becomes Liverpool Road. We're on the left just after Seth Powell Way.
By bus
The nearest stop is Hillside Road, a minute's walk from our door.
From Liverpool city centreabout 45 minutes
From Lime Street, walk about 6 minutes to the Fraser Street stop on London Road. Take the 10A towards St Helens, which runs roughly every 9 minutes; the 10 and 10B also work. Get off at Hillside Road, then walk a minute east along Liverpool Road. We're on the left. You'll pass the Kingsway, Seth Powell Way and Primrose Drive stops just before yours, so you'll know you're close.
From St Helens, Prescot or Whiston
Take the 10 or 10A towards Liverpool and get off at Hillside Road.

By train
The nearest stations are Huyton and Roby, both around a mile and a half away. Most people finish the journey by bus or taxi.
From Manchesterabout 1 hour 15 minutes
Take a Northern train from Piccadilly to Huyton; the Liverpool Lime Street service takes about 45 minutes. Walk 3 minutes to the Derby Road stop and take the 9 towards Liverpool. Get off at Wastle Bridge Road, about 11 minutes later, and walk about 4 minutes to us.
From Wigan
There are direct Northern trains to Huyton. From there, follow the bus directions.
From London, Birmingham and further afield
Take the train to Liverpool Lime Street, then follow the bus directions from the city centre.
Accessibility
We have disabled access on the ground floor and 3 accessible parking bays. If anyone in your group has specific needs, tell us when you book. We'll put you in a ground-floor room and sort out whatever else helps on the day.
Please note: We don't have a lift to the first-floor rooms, but the Auditorium, Community Room, Forum, Grove and Pod are all on the ground floor. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you book, so we can make sure you're in a ground-floor room.
