How much is a virtual office in Liverpool?
A virtual office at the Maggie O'Neill Centre costs from £20 a month for a registered office and business address. The £40 Virtual Office plan adds post opened and scanned and 2 free meeting room hours a month. Director's Cover adds £10 a month to either plan, taking it to £30 or £50.
Can I use the address as my registered office with Companies House?
Yes. Every virtual office plan at the Maggie O'Neill Centre includes a registered office address at 433 Liverpool Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L36 8HT. You can also use it as your business address on your website, invoices and letters.
How do I keep my home address off Companies House?
Use the Maggie O'Neill Centre as your registered office and add Director's Cover, which gives you a director's service address too. New filings then show our address instead of your home. Older documents on the register may still show your home address, and Companies House explains how to apply to have it removed.
What is Director's Cover?
Director's Cover is a £10 a month add-on that gives you a director's service address at the Maggie O'Neill Centre. Your plan already replaces your home as your registered office, so with Director's Cover your home no longer needs to appear in either place on the public register.
If I upgrade my plan, do I keep Director's Cover?
Yes. If you have Address Only with Director's Cover at £30 a month and move up to Virtual Office, your cover moves with you and the price becomes £50 a month.
Who handles my post?
The Maggie O'Neill Centre handles your post in-house. It isn't outsourced to another company: our team looks after virtual office post at reception.
Can I collect my post?
Yes. You can collect post from reception at the Maggie O'Neill Centre, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and parking is free while you do.
Can I meet clients at my virtual office address?
Yes. Meeting rooms are in the same building, from the Pod at £20 an hour. The £40 Virtual Office plan includes 2 free meeting room hours a month.
Do I need to be near Liverpool to use the virtual office?
No. The Maggie O'Neill Centre has virtual office clients across the UK who chose a charity for their registered address, instead of an online service or a profit-making company. On the Virtual Office plan your post is opened and scanned, so you can read it wherever you are.
Is there a contract?
There's no lock-in. You can cancel a virtual office at the Maggie O'Neill Centre any time with one month's notice.
How quickly can I start?
You can be live as soon as your AML checks are done. Fill in the form, complete the secure AML form we send you, and you get your address and mailbox app.
Why do you need to do an AML check?
Anyone providing a registered office service has to carry out anti-money laundering (AML) checks on their clients by law. The Maggie O'Neill Centre sends you a secure form for this after you sign up.
Can I use a virtual office for a taxi or private hire operator's licence?
Not in Knowsley. Some councils accept a virtual office address, but Knowsley Council requires the office number of a physical office with planning permission. For Knowsley operators, the Maggie O'Neill Centre has a dedicated package: a 12-month satellite office lease with planning permission, from £100 a month, with an exit clause if the council refuses your licence. See the Knowsley operator licence address page.
Is it a real address or a PO box?
It's a real building with people in it: the Maggie O'Neill Centre, 433 Liverpool Road, Huyton. Companies House doesn't accept a PO box as a registered office address.
