It depends on the room and the layout, from 4 in the Pod to whole teams in the larger rooms. Tell us how many people are coming and what the day involves, and we'll recommend the room and layout that works, then set it up before you arrive.
Do you offer hot desking or coworking?
No. The Maggie O'Neill Centre no longer offers hot desks or coworking. For a quiet room to work or meet in, the Pod is £20 an hour, and a virtual office gives you a business address from £20 a month.
Is there a screen in every meeting room?
Yes. Every meeting and training room at the Maggie O'Neill Centre has a screen with wireless casting from Mac and PC, plus HDMI, and the cables are provided. There's 1Gb fibre WiFi, a flipchart and pens too.
Is parking free at the Maggie O'Neill Centre?
Yes. The Maggie O'Neill Centre has a free 50-space car park on site, 30 seconds from the M57, and it is on a main bus route.
Can you provide lunch?
Yes. Catering is provided by the Maggie O'Neill Centre's partner, Superior Catering. You order and pay for it with them directly, and we'll put you in touch when you book.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, on the ground floor. There's step-free access, 3 accessible parking bays and an accessible toilet with grab rails, a fold-down rail and an emergency pull cord. We don't have a lift to the first-floor rooms, but the Auditorium, Community Room, Forum, Grove and Pod are all on the ground floor. Tell us about any accessibility needs when you book and we'll put you in a ground-floor room.
What happens if I need to cancel?
A standard booking (one room for one day) is free to cancel or change up to 1 business day before your start time. After that, the full booking cost is payable. Larger bookings are fully chargeable once booked, with a 25% deposit to secure your dates.
Can I book a meeting room in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes. The Maggie O'Neill Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, and evening and weekend room hire is available on request.
